BrightView Health’s Sandusky Addiction Treatment Center, 1012 E. Perkins Ave., celebrated three years of transforming lives in the Sandusky with a fun-filled Free Hot Dog Friday on Sept. 13, according to a news release.
BrightView will host a second Free Hot Dog Friday from 1-2:30 p.m. Sept. 20, the release said.
During the past event, guests heard live music, ate hot dogs and other refreshments while exploring all that BrightView has to offer, according to the release.

Since the facility’s opening, the BrightView Sandusky team has supported over 500 residents in their recovery journeys, providing over 7,000 hours of medical treatment and nearly 5,000 hours of counseling and therapy, the release said.
“Our team of clinicians and counselors is available six days a week, offering personalized support that focuses on treating the whole person through a comprehensive approach, biological, sociological and psychological,” the release said. “Come take a tour of the facility, meet our dedicated team and discover how we’re making a difference in addiction recovery.”
“Free Hot Dog Friday is all about bringing the community together during National Recovery Month”, said Tamara Robinson, BrightView’s community outreach manager. “It’s a relaxed way for people to stop by, meet our team and learn about the resources available to anyone seeking help for addiction. September is also the perfect time to celebrate the amazing providers and community partners who make recovery possible.”
In addition to the festivities, there will be opportunities to chat with Tamara Robinson about key topics such as:
– Addiction and recovery trends in Sandusky
– The importance of National Recovery Month
– Insights from patients on what truly matters in a successful recovery
– An in-depth tour of the center, including a step-by-step look at what happens when someone seeks help at BrightView.
