Unikat Motorworks, a Polish custom motorcycle shop renowned for its extraordinary one of a kind builds, has taken a more subtle approach with its latest project. Commissioned by Dominik, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE received a tasteful upgrade that focused on refining the existing design rather than reinventing it.

Unlike many of their previous radical transformations, Unikat’s approach this time was more understated, emphasizing elegance and refinement over over-the-top modifications.

The team at Unikat carefully considered each element of the Scrambler, making subtle changes that enhanced its aesthetic and performance. They stripped the swingarm, skid plate, and engine covers of their silver paint and powder-coated them black for a stealthier look.

Additionally, they tightened up the Scrambler’s proportions at the rear by removing the stock grab bar, taillight, and license plate holder, while trimming the rear fender as far back as possible. The mudguard was then fitted with a thin LED lighting strip that incorporates the taillight and turn signals into a single module, and the license plate was relocated to a swingarm-mounted bracket.

To further enhance the Scrambler’s urban riding capabilities, Unikat sourced premium Kineo wheels measuring 17 inches in diameter fore and aft, cloaking their rims in Pirelli Scorpion rubber. A high mounted front fender was also added, and the upper fork legs were anodized black while the lower guards were powder-coated in the same color.

These subtle yet impactful modifications transformed the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE into a unique and stylish motorcycle that perfectly reflects Dominik’s taste. Unikat’s ability to enhance a bike’s design without compromising its original character is evident in this project, showcasing its expertise in creating truly exceptional custom motorcycles. Motogadget components, including bar end mirrors and turn signals, adorn the handlebars, while the same brand’s grips complete the cohesive aesthetic. The OEM dash is now shielded by a tinted wind deflector, and a cosmetic grille protects the headlight, adding a touch of visual interest.

A slightly smaller saddle, reupholstered in high grade leather, sits atop the chassis, providing both comfort and style. Zard aftermarket mufflers replace the stock exhaust on the right side, although the original pipework remains, maintaining the balance of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle’s bodywork is coated in matte black paint, and Triumph logos from Unikat adorn the fuel tank, further enhancing its distinctive character.
