New Zealand-based climate tech firm CarbonClick has announced a new partnership with SCB Group, a leading low-carbon commodity company, to curate a comprehensive carbon credit portfolio specifically targeted at the aviation sector.
This collaboration will provide an end-to-end carbon credit solution aimed at helping airlines streamline their carbon reduction and offsetting efforts, accelerating their journey to net-zero emissions, according to a joint statement, published earlier this week.
The partnership promises a “one-stop solution” for aviation companies to translate climate goals into meaningful action.
By combining CarbonClick’s advanced technology with SCB’s expertise in carbon markets, the collaboration will offer a portfolio of diverse, high-integrity carbon credits.
These credits will support both mandatory compliance targets, such as those required by CORSIA, and voluntary offset programs for passengers, employees, and corporate travel.
The available credits will include nature-based and community-driven projects, CORSIA-eligible offsets, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) certificates, and Energy Attribute Certificates, such as I-RECs.

This offering allows customers to support the growth of the SAF market while meeting both voluntary and compliance carbon requirements for the first time.
CarbonClick’s CEO, Dave Rouse, emphasized the importance of transparency and credibility in the aviation sector’s journey to net-zero.
Our goal is to work towards a cooler planet, and by diversifying our offerings, including SAF credits, we provide another way for our customers to reduce emissions meaningfully, he said.
The partnership will simplify the carbon offsetting process, providing real-time reporting and analytics, while ensuring high-quality credits through CarbonClick’s 7-Point Impact Check.
SCB Group CEO Kevin McGeeney highlighted the alignment of the two companies’ values, noting that decarbonization strengthens both business and society, and that partnering with CarbonClick helps make the low-carbon pathway more affordable and efficient.
This partnership will benefit companies such as Amadeus, Manchester Airports, Dublin Airport Authority, and Luxembourg Airport, among other existing aviation customers of both CarbonClick and SCB, as well as customers in other sectors in the future.
