General Motors has maintained a slight advantage in the US automotive market through the first three quarters of the year, closely followed by Toyota and Ford. While GM has delivered a total of 1,949,920 vehicles, Toyota has sold 1,729,519, and Ford has delivered 1,548,172, representing a 2.7% increase from the same period last year.

GM’s dominance is particularly evident in the full size pickup truck and SUV segments, where its Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, as well as its Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukons, and Cadillac Escalade, continue to outsell their competitors. However, Ford’s F-Series remains a formidable force, having sold nearly 551,000 units compared to Chevrolet’s Silverado at 412,000.

Lincoln and Ford have recently refreshed their Navigator and Expedition models. The 2025 Ford Expedition is eagerly anticipated and is scheduled to be revealed on October 3 at 8 PM EDT. In the meantime, digital artists have created unofficial renderings of the upcoming vehicle, providing enthusiasts with a look at what to expect.

Ford is optimistic about the success of its new Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition, following the strong sales of the 2025 Explorer and Lincoln Nautilus. Despite their close relationship, the new Navigator will feature a distinct exterior design, highlighted by a larger grille, new headlights, and a unique DRL signature.

An unofficial rendering showcases the potential look of the front fascia, along with proposed colors and a comparison with the current model. While the interior design is speculative, it offers a look at what the new Expedition might look like. The rendering suggests a more luxurious and modern cabin, with premium materials and advanced technology.

However, it’s important to note that this is just a hypothetical interpretation, and the final design may differ. The new Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition are expected to build upon the success of their predecessors, offering a combination of style, performance, and luxury.
