Rolls-Royce, while expanding into the SUV and EV markets with models like the Cullinan and Spectre, continues to prioritize its roots in the large luxury sedan segment. The 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II is a refined version of the second-generation Ghost introduced in 2021. It features subtle design tweaks, more luxurious interior options, and increased customization possibilities. While these updates are more about enhancing the existing model than overhauling it, they align with Rolls-Royce’s focus on fine-tuning its already iconic sedans.

Externally, the changes to the 2025 Ghost are subtle but noticeable. The headlights have been slimmed down and given an upward curvature at the bottom, replacing the blunter look of the previous model. The lower bumper is also more refined with smaller vents and two chrome accents.

The taillights are now inspired by the Spectre, adding a modern touch, and two new 22-inch wheel designs have been introduced. Rolls-Royce has also introduced a new exterior color called Mustique Blue, which is meant to evoke the shimmering waters of the Caribbean island of Mustique. This color pays homage to the 1929 Phantom II Continental prototype, which was one of the first cars to use pearlescent paint.

Inside, the Ghost Series II incorporates Rolls-Royce’s latest Spirit infotainment system, displayed on a widescreen housed behind a glass panel. The passenger’s side of the dashboard has a newly designed “Illuminated Fascia” that mimics the look of time-lapse celestial photography.

This can be customized through the Bespoke program, along with options like matching the color of the digital instrument gauges to the car’s overall aesthetic. Another luxurious touch is the “clock cabinet” in the dashboard, which houses both an analog clock and an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy ornament.

The rear passengers of the Series II Ghost also receive a tech upgrade, with the ability to connect two devices to the rear screens and stream independent content. The screens offer a new interface for controlling entertainment, seat functions, and the car’s climate control. There’s also a new 1400-watt amplifier in the 18-speaker sound system and the addition of USB-C charging ports.

Rolls-Royce continues to push the envelope with its bespoke interior options, including a new open-pore wood trim called Grey Stained Ash and a unique fabric made from bamboo, called Duality Twill. This fabric can be customized in several colors, with 51 stitching options available.

Under the hood, the 2025 Ghost Series II retains its 6.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine, delivering 563 horsepower to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. A new Satellite Aided Transmission system optimizes gear changes based on GPS data, while the Flagbearer system uses cameras to keep the suspension as smooth as possible.

The Extended long-wheelbase model also returns for the 2025 Ghost. Pricing details have not been released yet, but it is expected that the new model will start at several thousand dollars more than the 2024 version’s price of $354,750.
