SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA, Okla. (KXII) – The USDA announced more than $3.5 million in grants to support schools located across Southeastern Oklahoma on Thursday.
The funding is part of the Biden-Harris Investing in America Agenda to deliver critical resources to strengthen rural America.
The grants will give schools funding for transportation, STEM and language courses as well as law enforcement training for school resource officers.
Atoka and Caney schools and the Choctaw Nation all received a portion of the money.
