Ford Bronco enthusiasts, brace yourselves for a mix of excitement and disappointment. While the base trim level returns for the 2025 model year, the Blue Oval has also made some significant changes.
The popular Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition grades, along with the 221A and 331A equipment groups, have been discontinued. In terms of exterior colors, six options have been removed, and replaced by three new hues. Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Marsh Gray, and Desert Sand join the Bronco’s palette.
Under the hood, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine now comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission in the 2-door Badlands, and Electronic Brake Boost is now standard across the lineup.
The Badlands also gains the option of HOSS 3.0 suspension with FOX dampers. Other notable changes include beadlock-capable wheels becoming available on multiple trims, the removable hoop step becoming a dealer-installed option, and the discontinuation of the 2-door Big Bend and Heritage Edition.
While some features like LED headlamps and ambient footwell lighting have been added, the hard top/dual top sound-deadening headliner is now optional on certain trims. On the bright side, the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Raptor now come standard with a heated steering wheel.
The 2025 Ford Bronco has undergone several changes, including the removal of the wireless charging pad from the High/Lux Package and the addition of interior grab handles as standard equipment on certain trims. The Big Bend now includes interior grab handles as part of the Black Diamond Package and the Outer Banks w/Sasquatch Package.
The Black Diamond Package also features advanced 4×4, steel bash plates, powder coated steel bumpers, LED fog lamps, rock rails, rubberized flooring, and black aluminum wheels. The Big Bend can also be equipped with the new Free Wheeling Package, a retro inspired option available exclusively for this trim.
The Stroppe Special Edition, based on the Wildtrak w/Sasquatch Package, will also be available in January 2025. Finally, the Base trim level is expected to return in late availability, providing a blank canvas for customization.
