The 2025 Audi RS3 performance sedan has been refined with a focus on enhancing agility rather than increasing its already impressive power output. By retaining the turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, Audi keeps the RS3’s familiar strength intact while focusing on improved handling for more versatile performance on both the road and track. These mid-cycle updates aim to strike a balance between speed and cornering ability, which is essential for squeezing out every second in tight turns. This approach showcases Audi’s commitment to delivering a well-rounded driving experience that combines power with precision.

Audi has introduced a range of visual updates for the 2025 RS3, aligning it with the design language of larger models like the Q7 and Q8. These updates include new headlights with customizable lighting designs, a larger front bumper for optimized airflow, and a redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser that now has an integrated vertical reflector. New paint colors and wheel designs, inspired by the RS3 LMS race car, complete the exterior refresh. These changes make the RS3 look more assertive and functional, clearly marking it as a part of Audi’s performance-oriented RS lineup.

Inside, the RS3’s updates add both style and utility to the cabin. A new squarish steering wheel features a flat top and bottom, equipped with red buttons for quick access to the car’s performance modes. Audi has also redesigned the tachometer display and added dark chrome and carbon fiber trim throughout the interior, creating a high-tech atmosphere. An optional set of RS bucket seats with carbon-fiber backs is available for those who want extra lateral support. Additionally, Audi has replaced the traditional shift lever with a sleek slider, streamlining the cabin’s appearance and making gear changes feel smoother.

Audi’s technical improvements extend to the RS3’s handling, focusing on the rear differential and torque-vectoring capabilities. Adjustments to the software controlling the differential, stability control, and adaptive dampers have been made to increase turn-in responsiveness and enhance corner exit speeds. These upgrades also allow for better oversteer control, enabling the car to respond more intuitively to steering input rather than simply depending on throttle input. This set of changes allows drivers to navigate tight turns and challenging roads with greater control, making the RS3 more responsive in various driving conditions.

Finally, Audi now offers a new tire choice with the Bridgestone Potenza Sport or Pirelli P Zero R, both designed to provide improved wet handling while offering close-to-track performance in dry conditions. Positioned between the standard summer tires and the more track-oriented Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R, these C-compound tires balance everyday usability with a high-performance grip. Alongside the powerful 394-horsepower (European) engine, or 401-horsepower U.S. variant, the RS3 promises strong acceleration, reaching 60 mph in approximately 3.3 seconds. Altogether, these updates refine the 2025 Audi RS3’s ability to deliver a fast, confident, and well-rounded driving experience.
