The 2025 BMW M5, while heavier and less aesthetically pleasing than its predecessor, has already captured the attention of performance tuners.
Manhart, a renowned name in the tuning industry, is the latest to join the fray, revealing initial details and renderings of their upcoming package.
The centerpiece of this upgrade is a significant power boost, with Manhart aiming for a combined output of around 800 horsepower.
While the exact modifications to the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and electric motor remain undisclosed, the projected power figure, likely in European horsepower, translates to approximately 789 brake horsepower and 588 kilowatts.

This surpasses the stock M5’s 717 horsepower and 738 pound feet of torque. The tuned M5s are expected to shave off a fraction of a second from the standard model’s 0-62 mph sprint time of 3.4-3.5 seconds while maintaining the top speed of 190 mph.
