Cadillac has officially announced the 2026 Lyriq V, marking its first all-electric model to bear the prestigious V-Series badge. This new SUV combines luxury with high performance, promising to Cadillac’s presence in the electric vehicle market.

While specific details about the Lyriq V are still limited, the automaker has shared a couple of images and a brief video showcasing its design.

From what we can see, the Lyriq V features a sportier appearance compared to the standard Lyriq. It sits lower to the ground and has a slightly altered grille, giving it a more aggressive look that resembles past V-Series models like the CTS-V wagon.

Cadillac has emphasized that the Lyriq V will blend the luxurious qualities of the Lyriq with the performance attributes typical of the V-Series lineup.

The video reveals some exciting features, including Brembo brakes and carbon fiber elements, along with the signature V button on the steering wheel, hinting at enhanced performance capabilities.

The regular 2024 Lyriq is already an impressive vehicle, equipped with either a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup that delivers 515 horsepower or a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version producing 365 horsepower. With the introduction of the V-Series, expectations are high for even more power and performance from the Lyriq V.
