The custom Yamaha V-Max, a product of Motocrew and the vision of a formidable client, is a testament to the fusion of power and precision. The bike, originally a 1998 model, underwent a comprehensive transformation to cater to the needs of its owner, a dedicated serviceman and MMA fighter.
To enhance the handling, the stock forks were replaced with inverted units from a Yamaha FZR1000, secured by custom-made triple clamps. The front end was further upgraded with a three-spoke wheel and high-performance brake calipers, also sourced from the FZR1000. The rear suspension received an overhaul with premium YSS shock absorbers, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
Ditching the bulky stock seat, this Yamaha V-Max got a sleek custom tail unit handcrafted by the crew themselves. Wrapped in luxurious black Alcantara, the solo saddle emphasizes the bike’s sharpened look.
This transformation not only reduces visual weight at the rear but also integrates dual-function LEDs seamlessly into the subframe. While the original under-seat fuel cell and signature V4 engine cover remain, the front and rear fenders were given the axe. The stock headlight also met its demise, replaced with a repurposed Husqvarna number board sporting a street tracker vibe.
This new element features a circular cutout housing an LED projector for improved illumination. The makeover extends to the cockpit, featuring low-rise handlebars adorned with Domino grips, underslung mirrors, and bar-end turn signals for a clean aesthetic.
Performance upgrades include a new clutch and a slash-cut custom exhaust with internal baffles for a throatier growl. Clad in a predominantly black color scheme with a mix of gloss and matte finishes, this V-Max exudes a sinister presence, a perfect match for its adventurous rider.
