Recently, Nissan partnered with social media influencer Emelia Hartford to build the most powerful Nissan Z racecar to date. With the help of the FuelTech team, they aimed to break the previous horsepower record of 1,300 hp.

Their hard work paid off, resulting in an incredible achievement of 1,899 hp.

The base model of the 2024 Nissan Z is already a strong performer, featuring a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces between 400 and 420 horsepower, depending on the trim.

However, the Z Nismo version is designed for even more aggressive driving, making it a favorite among performance enthusiasts. Emelia’s project took this idea to a whole new level by modifying the Nissan Z to handle extreme horsepower.

In her latest YouTube video, Emelia documented the process and the thrilling moment the Nissan Z screamed on the dyno, literally sending objects flying around the shop.

Initially aiming for 1,700 hp, the team was thrilled to find they could push it even further. This incredible achievement marks the Nissan Z as the highest horsepower version of its kind in.

To reach this record, the team made several significant modifications to the engine. They rebuilt it to withstand high boost levels and installed robust components, including forged internals and an upgraded fuel system.

By combining a turbocharger with nitrous oxide, they were able to enhance power delivery, making the car respond more quickly. The team meticulously monitored engine parameters to ensure everything ran smoothly at these extreme power levels.

Ultimately, after numerous adjustments and tests, the Nissan Z hit an impressive peak of 1,899 horsepower, showcasing the incredible potential of this sports car when paired with expert engineering and innovative modifications.
