Hailing from a quaint Polish town near the Czech border, Dixer Parts has established itself as a renowned brand for its extensive catalog of bolt-on aftermarket components. Their products have graced numerous world-class custom builds, and their reputation for quality is widely recognized.

Beyond their core business, Dixer also indulges in full custom conversions, primarily to showcase their offerings and foster camaraderie within the team. One such creation is the Zero, a 1990 BMW K 100 RS transformed into a stunning neo-retro cafe racer.

The transformation involved a meticulous dismantling of the original motorcycle, leaving behind only the fuel tank as the sole remnant of the factory bodywork. The wheels, suspension, and braking system were also replaced with high-performance alternatives. With a blank canvas in hand, the Dixer team started on a journey to craft a truly unique machine.

The chassis was the first to receive attention, with a custom-fabricated subframe seamlessly integrating with the fuel tank to form a sleek, uninterrupted line. A fully adjustable YSS shock absorber, sourced from a K 1100, provides precise damping and control. Up front, inverted forks from a Suzuki GSX-R1000, paired with custom billet aluminum triple clamps, offer superior handling and braking performance.

Tokico calipers from the same donor bike, coupled with wave-style rotors, ensure powerful and responsive braking. The wheels, sourced from a police-spec R 850 RT, are wrapped in grippy Bridgestone AX41S tires.

The bodywork was meticulously crafted to complement the bike’s aggressive stance. The stock fuel tank was modified to flow smoothly into the custom-made seat, upholstered in premium black leather. A 3D-printed tail unit, housing an integrated LED taillight, completes the minimalist rear end. A retro-style headlight, paired with a custom cowl, adds a touch of classic charm to the front end.

The cockpit is a minimalist masterpiece, featuring a Motogadget Motoscope Pro instrument cluster seamlessly integrated into the triple clamp. Dixer’s proprietary clip-on handlebars, equipped with a Brembo master cylinder and Motogadget controls, provide a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. CNC-machined rearsets, also designed and manufactured in-house, enhance the sporty riding experience.

The inline-four engine received a thorough overhaul, including custom velocity stacks and a handcrafted stainless steel exhaust system. A high-performance radiator ensures optimal cooling, while Motogadget wiring provides a clean and efficient electrical system. The final touch was the stunning paint job by L.C. Grafix, featuring a predominantly black color scheme with silver accents and subtle hints of unpainted metal.

The Dixer Zero is a testament to the team’s passion for building exceptional motorcycles. It’s a perfect blend of classic aesthetics and modern performance, showcasing the brand’s expertise in custom motorcycle design and fabrication.
