    SBTi reveals carbon credit plans in new standard

    LONDON – The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has published an initial draft of its revised Corporate Net-Zero Standard for public consultation – including the use of carbon credits to offset supply chain emissions.

    Around 1,500 companies have their climate targets approved in line with the standard, launched in 2021, which the SBTi is looking to update to align corporate climate action with the latest science and best practices.
