Mr McGee’s column, which will appear every second Wednesday on the Irish Independent, is the latest addition to Indo Money, a new dedicated hub for financial advice.
With a wider range of content, new voices and fresh perspectives, Indo Money is the go-to source for Irish money matters.
Mediahuis Ireland editor-in-chief Cormac Bourke said: “We are very happy to have Eoin join our team of Indo Money contributors.

Money editor Katie Byrne said: “Eoin McGee is a fantastic addition to our team. He has a knack for simplifying complex financial topics and helping people develop long-term financial strategies to build their nest egg.”
“I’m delighted to be joining the Indo Money team,” said Mr McGee. “This column will be similar to the popular Q&A I do on Instagram every Saturday, where people ask me personal finance questions. But here I get to go deeper and offer much more in-depth advice.
“This column is driven by you, the reader. I want to hear your questions, whether you’ve had financial struggles or successes.
“It’s funny, we’re a country that doesn’t like talking about money yet we want to look at other people’s money. So let’s get people talking about money by asking the right questions.”
Eoin McGee’s first column appears tomorrow. If you have a personal finance question you’d like to ask him, email money@independent.ie. Your name and email will remain in strictest confidence.
