Calyx Global has announced public access to its carbon credit ratings platform, giving a wider audience the tools to evaluate the environmental integrity and sustainable impact of carbon credits.

The move is intended to increase transparency in voluntary carbon markets and empower sustainability professionals to make more informed decisions.

By unlocking high-level ratings for both greenhouse gas (GHG) integrity and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) impacts, Calyx Global is expanding access to data that was previously limited to subscribers.

These ratings assess crucial factors such as additionality, permanence, and over-crediting, as well as community health benefits, biodiversity protection, and economic development contributions. The newly public platform offers an intuitive, searchable interface that helps users filter, compare, and explore carbon credit projects based on quality and impact.

The aim is to help organizations simplify due diligence, avoid reputational risks, and direct investments toward credits that produce verified environmental and social outcomes.

In a market often clouded by inconsistent claims and varying credit quality, Calyx Global’s independent, peer-reviewed assessments offer clarity. The platform’s tools are designed not only for credit buyers, but for anyone interested in fostering a carbon market with real climate and development impact.

While core ratings are now open to all users, Calyx Global still offers advanced capabilities through subscription. These include detailed project-specific scores (rated from AAA to D), full analytical breakdowns, access to inventory and pricing data, and insights into credit retirement trends across thousands of companies.

Subscribers can also explore technical research, program evaluations, and integrate the platform’s tools into their own systems via API, with support from Calyx Global’s expert team.

With public access now live, sustainability professionals, investors, and climate advocates alike can more easily identify carbon credits that align with their goals — helping to build a market that rewards transparency, trust, and tangible results.
