Olympic Steel Inc. (Nasdaq: ZEUS), a leading national metals service center, today announced the promotion of Vincent Anza to the role of General Manager for its Milford, Connecticut, facility.

Mr. Anza joined the Company in 2024 with more than 18 years of management experience in the metals industry. In the role of General Manager, he will oversee daily operations and assume budgetary responsibility for the Milford location, which focuses on slitting and the cutting-to-length of flat rolled carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel products. He will report directly to David J. Gea, President – Carbon Flat Rolled.

“Vince brings fresh perspective and deep industry insight to our Milford team,” said Gea. “His leadership and collaborative approach have already made an impact. His focus on safety, culture, and efficiency will foster continued, sustainable growth for our carbon flat products segment.”

Mr. Anza earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in management and marketing from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. He replaces James D. (Jim) Post, Region Vice President, who will retire at the end of the year after more than 10 years with Olympic Steel.

“We thank Jim for his dedication and many contributions to Olympic Steel,” said Gea. “He has had a long career in the metals industry and built many long-standing relationships. We wish him all the best in retirement.”
