Hunt Transport Services — The freight shipping company surged 8% after beating third-quarter estimates on the top and bottom lines. J.B. Hunt reported earnings of $1.49 per share on $3.07 billion of revenue. Analysts surveyed by LSEG were looking for $1.41 in earnings per share on $3.02 billion of revenue. The company said demand for its intermodal service rose throughout the quarter. Omnicom Group — Shares of the advertising and communications company dipped 2% after the release of third-quarter results. Omnicom’s adjusted earnings of $2.03 per share beat analyst estimates by 1 cent, according to FactSet. However, the company’s operating expenses grew faster than revenue.
