While we’re thrilled that Ford has revived the Bronco, these classic, customized Broncos will always have a special place in our hearts.
This particular 1969 custom-built Bronco has been transported into the modern era, making it one of the top ten we’ve seen without a doubt.
This build comes from none other than RMD Garage (yes, that RMD Garage), and it even appeared in an episode titled “Urban Madness.”
They’ve packed this Bronco with an array of sleek, modern upgrades, transforming it into a show-stopping custom SEMA build.
The craftsmanship on this Bronco’s body is astonishing. The matte military green finish pairs beautifully with the dark shadow gray accents.
The custom grille offers a rugged, modern touch that we think looks even more formidable than the original ’69 Bronco grille.
RMD Garage has outfitted this Bronco for serious off-road adventures, featuring Go Rhino front and rear bumpers, Go Rhino running boards, a custom roll cage, and a WARN winch.
With these enhancements, we’re confident this vehicle is prepared to handle any rugged trail it encounters.
Additional frame and body customizations include:
- Cut-down steel doors
- Handcrafted hood
- LED lights surrounding the entire vehicle
- Custom headlights and taillights
Just stepping inside this Bronco, it’s hard to believe it’s almost 50 years old. While RMD Garage retained subtle nods to the classic design (like the glove compartment, door panel handles, and dash shape), they’ve completely revamped the rest.
Even for die-hard vintage Bronco fans like us, the updated interior is a work of art.
The leather seats, premium carpeting, and custom steering wheel are all tailored for off-road adventures. RMD Garage truly increased the comfort and functionality of this Bronco with features such as:
- Custom sPOD lighting system
- Digital gauges embedded in the dash
- New Bluetooth Kicker audio system
- Chrome shifter knobs
With all these additions, it’s tough to imagine how they could make it even more comfortable for off-road excursions.
And if you’re concerned about the ride quality, there’s no need. RMD Garage has also incorporated a range of performance enhancements.
One question might cross your mind: does this 1969 Bronco drive as well as it did half a century ago? We have every reason to believe it drives even better now, thanks to these upgrades:
- Custom Borla exhaust system
- Custom throttle-body induction system
- Front disc brake conversions
- M/T Toyo Open Country tires
- Custom-painted monster wheels
- Skyjacker suspension system
It appears RMD Garage retained the original 302 V8 engine paired with the 4-speed manual transmission.
Based on the photos, these components seem to have been expertly preserved and maintained. This Bronco has a listed mileage of just 11 miles.
With these extensive upgrades, this classic Bronco is ready to hit the trails for many more years to come.
