Sep. 17—Local media and Odessa College employees are invited to attend a special press conference to announce the results of the recent 2023 Odessa College Accountability Report.
President Gregory D. Williams will address the media and the college staff regarding the report findings at 11 a.m. Sept. 18 in the Community Room of the Wood Health Sciences Building on the second floor.
The Texas Higher Education Accountability Report provides a wealth of data on the state of higher education in Texas. The Accountability Report is organized around the goals and targets of the State’s higher education strategic plan, Building a Talent Strong Texas. The 2023 Accountability Report includes data regarding degrees and certificates awarded, enrollment, post-graduation outcomes, and more. This system is used to provide the citizens of Texas, the Governor, and the Legislature with the information necessary to determine the effectiveness and quality of the education students receive at individual institutions.
