The Ducati Multistrada V4, a versatile adventure-touring motorcycle, has received a significant update for the 2025 model year. Building upon its already impressive performance and technology, the new Multistrada V4 offers enhanced riding dynamics, refined aesthetics, and improved fuel efficiency.
The bike retains its core structure, featuring a lightweight aluminum monocoque frame and a double sided swingarm. Powering the Multistrada V4 is the familiar 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, which continues to deliver a potent 170 horsepower and 123.8 Nm of torque. Ducati has refined the engine’s cylinder deactivation system, resulting in a six percent improvement in fuel economy.
Additionally, a new silencer not only enhances the bike’s aesthetics but also provides a distinct exhaust note. The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 range offers a diverse array of features and riding modes to cater to various preferences and riding conditions. The Enduro mode now incorporates a Power Mode that limits engine power to 114 horsepower, specifically designed for off-road use.
Additionally, the new Wet mode is tailored for riding in wet conditions. An Automatic Lowering Device further enhances convenience by lowering the bike at lower speeds and raising it at higher speeds, facilitating easier handling. The Multistrada V4 also boasts a revised front end, drawing inspiration from the Panigale V4, and a larger top case to enhance passenger comfort.
The range is available in four distinct trim levels: Radar, Travel & Radar, Sport Travel & Radar, and Adventure Travel & Radar. The Multistrada V4 S raised the riding experience with the inclusion of a radar system equipped with Forward Collision Warning, self-leveling functionality, and sportier components.
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, on the other hand, is a more off road oriented version, featuring a distinct chassis setup, a modified riding position, and specialized components. All three versions are scheduled to be available in October, offering a choice of Ducati Red, Thrilling Black, and Arctic White color schemes. Pricing for the motorcycles has not been disclosed at this time.
